Social Services

Social services help bridge the gap between senior’s needs and those that a subsidized senior living community is able to provide.

It is not easy for a subsidized senior living community center to meet all the needs of its residents. Our Social Service Department is able to step in and fill the gaps in personalized care, provide meals and further subsidize the cost of important services like housekeeping and laundry. Trent Center Senior Living Community is one of the few senior living home facilities that have received government recognition and funds. This is testimony to our high standing in the industry as well as confirms our commitment to providing our residents with everything that they need.

Click to call or submit an online request to learn more about our government aided programs. We offer superior senior apartments to residents of Mercer, Burlington and Hunterdon Counties, NJ and Bucks County, PA.

What social services do we provide?

  • Congregate Housing Services Program:
CHSP has been successfully funded since 1980. This program provides case management, personal assistants, 2 meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services.  It allows our residents to achieve economic empowerment because community based care is more cost effective that institutionalization.

  • HUD Service Coordinator Grant Program:
Since 1995, this program has been providing a social service worker who links elderly, frail, at-risk and/or disabled residents of our subsidized senior apartments to supportive or medical services in the general community to help them live independently.

  • Referral programs:
We understand that some of our residents need extended help with food and medical services. We can refer our residents to home health aide agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, contact reassurance (daily telephone checks), adult daycare and protective services, food stamps, Trenton soup kitchen and interfaith caregivers.

Nothing is more important to Trent Center Senior Living Community than the comfort and well being of our seniors. Contact us for affordable living arrangements with superior service and a commitment to your utmost satisfaction.
