Home health aide and charity care with various hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and many others help us coordinate health services required by our residents.
Monthly screenings: A podiatrist comes to Trent Center West once a month.
Flu shots: Each Fall we host flu shots for our residents and community in association with a City of Trenton nurse.
Outreach program for diabetes: To serve those of our residents who have diabetes, we are working on an outreach program for the prevention and management of diabetes.
Case Management: Being uprooted from one’s culture, a poor understanding of the new homeland, language barriers and lack of meaningful contact with persons outside family can cause isolation and depression among our ethnic minorities. We are working on a community outreach program that is tailored to their needs.
