A Place of Independence and Care Since 1965.
Since June of 1965, Trent Center has enhanced the local
neighborhood and Mercer County with its focus on
resident life, activity and well-being. As a non-sectarian
housing complex for residents 55 and older, Trent
Center is sponsored by the Congregation Brothers of
Israel, an organization that is more than 100 years old.
Our purpose at Trent Center is to provide our residents
with the supportive services they need for carefree, independent living. Simply put, Trent Center is a nice
place to live.
The People and the Place
With a focus on independence, self-sufficiency and active
participation, Trent Center provides you with a mixed
community of 540 residents including working adults,
retirees looking to enjoy friends and pursue personal
interests, and those people who need additional help
through the specialized Congregate Housing Program
that is available for a small additional fee.
You will never be lonely at Trent Center. There is much
to do. We offer a full schedule of activities should you
decide to participate.
Trent Center maintains bright, convenient, attractive
and affordable apartments. Our care is not only for the
people, but also for the place. We keep well-maintained
buildings and grounds, ample security, wide brightly
lit hallways, efficient laundry facilities, on-site minimarkets,
libraries and social halls. As soon as you
enter our facilities, you too, will begin to see the beauty
that lies within Trent Center starting with the parklike
exterior landscaping, highlighted by a graceful
sculpture of David and his harp.
